Stephanie Combes
Stephanie has always been drawn to movement and spent her childhood and young adult life as a dancer. When injuries began to plague her, she initially turned to pilates. Based on her energetic personality, Stephanie originally thought a yoga practice was not a fast-paced enough match for her. However, at the encouragement of friends and even doctors, Stephanie turned to yoga and found it to be a fun and good challenge for her mind and body. Although she works in international public health by day, it's her yoga practice that brings a sense of balance and peace to her daily life.
Stephanie enjoys exploring different styles of yoga and studios while traveling the world, but is happy to call Blue Point home. She completed the 200 hour OM Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2011. Her classes are energetic but accessible to all levels of student. She firmly believes that yoga is for everyone and encourages students to approach its challenges with a sense of humor.
